What happened to hunky Hercules? Kevin Sorbo packs a paunch as he hits the beach on a Hawaiian family holiday
He shot to fame playing the title character in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, who showed off his ripped physique in low-cut tank tops – when he wasn’t shirtless.
But times have changed for Kevin Sorbo, who was packing a distinct paunch when he was spotted on the beach in Hawaii on Monday.
The actor was worlds away from his heyday when he stripped down to his printed blue swimming trunks and revealed his rounded belly.

But despite being less sculpted than he once was, the 54-year-old is still remaining active.
He was seen trying his hand at bodyboarding and looked like he was having a whale of a time as he whizzed through the water.
The Soul Surfer star was on holiday in Maui with his family and looked relaxed as he enjoyed the sunshine.
Almost unrecognisable: It was a far cry from the star's ripped look as he portrayed Hercules, seen right with Michael Hurst
At least he's keeping active: The actor was seen doing some bodyboarding during the sunny day at the beach
Kevin is married to actress Sam Jenkins, who he met when she had a guest starring role in Hercules, and the pair have three children together: sons Braedon and Shane and daughter Octavia.
As recently as 2008 Kevin was seen stripping off and sporting just some leather underwear and a cape for his role in Meet the Spartans.
Although Kevin looked muscular in the movie, it seems he has since let himself go and indulged over the recent holiday period.
Too much turkey?: It looked like Kevin might have indulged a little over the recent holiday period
He's a cool dad: No doubt the 54-year-old's sons and daughter would have been impressed as he whizzed through the water
Kevin is clearly making the most of his holiday as he takes a break from filming Alongside Night.
But fortunately for the family man his wife also has a role in the movie, meaning they don’t have to worry about spending time apart when they return from their island paradise.
The film tells the story of the economic collapse of the United States through the eyes of an 18-year-old boy who goes in search of his missing father, played by Kevin.
Letting himself go: Kevin, seen far right with Carmen Electra and Sean Maguire, was looking buff in 2008 in Meet the Spartans
